Terms of Service
Cancellation Policy.
The Sweep Squad recognizes that in today’s busy world unplanned issues do arrive. We understand the occasional need to cancel your appointment. As a courtesy, we ask that you cancel your appointment 48 hours in advance to allow us to appropriately and possibly schedule another client.
We require 2 business days notice to make a change or cancel a cleaning.
Cancelations without at least 2 business days notice will result in a $70 late cancellation fee. Cleanings that are cancelled on the same day of the service will result in a fee equal to your normal regular cleaning rate.
Lock-outs only happen when a client has not supplied us a key to their home. Although we don’t require it, we highly recommend that you provide us with a house key. We take many precautions to ensure that your key is never lost or misplaced. If we come to your home and are unable to clean because we were locked out, you will be charged the full regular cleaning rate.
Payments
Payment is due at time of cleaning. We accept cash, check, MasterCard or Visa. If a check is returned then a $25.00 charge will be assessed.
Cleaning Supplies/ Equipment.
The Sweep Squad will arrive at your home with all the cleaning products and tools necessary to perform the cleaning. For sanitary reasons, some of our clients prefer that we use their cleaning tools - such as their vacuum cleaner, broom, mop and bucket, and toilet bowl brush. If you do not have the above cleaning items, we will gladly utilize our own cleaning tools.
Exceptionally Dirty Charge:
If a cleaning is found to be exceptionally dirty, and we choose to do the cleaning, there will be additional time needed and an increase in the fee charged. Before cleaning starts, you will be given a choice to continue or cancel the cleaning. We reserve the right to refuse service based on condition or personal safety.
Service Guarantee.
We proudly stand behind our work. Should our service fall short of your ultimate satisfaction, kindly notify us within 24 hours and we will re-clean at our expense.
Valuables.
Please safely secure heirlooms and collectibles prior to cleanings.
Pets.
We will gladly work around pets. If your pet becomes anxious or presents a safety concern, we reserve the right to leave your home. If we leave your home prior to completion, we will charge you a pro-rated expense based on work performed.
Laundry.
The Sweep Squad will gladly wash and fold linens. If you desire a different set than your current linens, please provide all linens in the appropriate bedroom. Place all laundry cleaning supplies in a clearly visible area. We typically do not use bleach. Should you require us to use bleach, we assume no liability for any accidents due to the use of bleach.
Large and Heavy items.
For safety and liability reasons, we will not move heavy items or furniture.
